Where water has been freed

Players can choose to add a bottle to the map. Each dot is a rough area, about one kilometer across, never an exact spot.

How to play

Points and badges

Find an abandoned bottle, pour the water onto soil, recycle the bottle, and log it in the app.

10points for every bottle you free
+1point for every 50 mL of water in it
+5points when you recycle the bottle
+50points for finishing the weekly challenge

Points count for your first 15 bottles each day. After that your water still adds to every total, it just doesn't score. Free Water is about care, not speed.

Badges to collect

Play safe

No points are worth a risk

The game rewards steady habits, not rushing. These rules apply to every player and every team.

  1. Only abandoned bottles. If a bottle might belong to someone nearby, leave it alone.
  2. Stay out of traffic and off private property.Never step into a road, onto tracks, or past a fence or sign for a bottle.
  3. Never drink found water.Only clear water, poured onto soil. If it looks or smells like anything else, skip it.
  4. Wear gloves or wash up.Hold bottles by the cap and clean your hands afterward.
  5. Recycle every bottle.Only log what you actually freed. Honest logs keep the board fair for everyone.
  6. Students: play with permission.Check with a parent, teacher, or group leader, use a nickname, and never share where you live.
